ISTRA PlayOut Tennis Classic 2025

After being a masters series event in 2023, the ISTRA PlayOut Tennis Classic returned to Pula and the beautiful Verudela Beach & Tennis Resort as a smaller and more intimate event in 2025, but nonetheless offering a lot of interesting and quality matches, as well as socializing, fun and other excitements off-court.

On Thursday, we started the tournament with a sightseeing tour of the historic city of Pula, a seafront city in the tip of the Istrian Peninsula, known for its protected harbor, beach-lined coast and Roman ruins. At the end of the sightseeing tour, players met at the registration & welcome party at the Shipyard Pub, enjoying craft beers, cocktails, and burgers while catching up on latest tennis news and gossip.

On Friday's sun and heat, 69 players hit the courts next to the sea. Occasional dips into the sea between matches helped everyone cool off. We concluded the evening/night with cocktails at the Beach & Lounge Bar Zeppelin.

After Saturday's play, the player’s dinner party was held at the Bonaca restaurant, offering breathtaking views from the terrace, a traditional and sea food selection in buffet style, and an amazing cocktail bar with s DJ playing tunes, plus dolphins in the sea at sunset. During the dinner party we also had a raffle game, with the lucky ones winning free entries to 15 amazing tournaments all around the globe.
